Have you ever been mistaken for, say, a Best Buy sales associate, and did you help your “customer” out? What was on your hamburger? Did you order fries? As a sorta regular guy, should I be feeling stupid for assuming anyone tells the truth on a message board? ---

What is your opinion of Double Stuf Oreos? OK, because it’s regular stuff that’s just a little thicker? Kinky, because now it’s a threesome with you and two stuffs? Does the purposeful misspelling take it beyond the realm of regular into territory you fear to tread? ---

I just want to hear one regular man say that he has a regular wife and regular kids. Or is your wife “beautiful” and your kids “wonderful”? ---

Except it’s regular to say your wife is beautiful. Unless she really is beautiful. If she’s just regular you call her beautiful because she’s regular, but I have no idea what you call your wife if she really were beautiful, because that would be unusual. Let’s face it, regular guys can have wives that are perfectly decent looking–nothing wrong with them. You know, except for the regular extra few pounds they could stand to lose. ---

Well, okay, I’ll give him a pass on the beautiful wife. But lately I’ve been seeing a lot of people in commercials or on game shows say that they have something like, “four wonderful children” or “three beautiful kids”, and just once I want to hear someone say, “I have three wonderful children, and one who’s kind of a jerk” or “I have two beautiful kids and one with a good personality”. I just figured a regular guy might be willing to admit he has a regular family. ---

When one them seems to drift off in one direction the other will usually drift off the same distance in the opposite direction ---

The doubles give me a moments pause, but then I realize it’s just more of the regular stuff, and it’s run of the mill for regular guys to want a little more regular stuff. The misspelling is definitely too interesting for me to spend any time considering. ---
