Hmmmm… I’ve normally got a soft spot for cute boys with delicate features, but there’s something about the combo of buzz-cut, eyebrow piercing and slightly androgynous look that’s a little too Annie Lennox for comfort. Then again, it might just be the angle and pose in the photo, because I don’t see the same things in the before pic at all. Either way, you’re adorable as hell. 🙂 ---

My husband just shaved his head, too (well, buzzcut). Must be something in the air. He’s had the same haircut since he was a toddler, I think (short back and sides). I for one applaud our new preppy overlord. 😃 In a small way I went for something similar last year. Some life-changing events, and I realized oh man, I’m 45 and I live in t-shirts. What the hell. I went to Goodwill stores and scoured through the shirts and came home with like 14 polo shirts. ( golf shirts. what have you ). All different brands, colors, logos, non-logos. Like trying on someone else’s look. I figured, get cheap shirts and try out the new look. If I hated it, I wasn’t going broke to find out. And, it fits and I DO care how I look in them and it’s a good thing. Ya look fine, dude ! Stick with the eyebrow ring and buzz cut. A great change, I say. Cartooniverse ---

Am I the only one that thinks you don’t look “radically” different? You had long, crazy hair before. Now it’s short. You have a tiny eyebrow piercing that disappears into your face. When people I’ve known have pierced their eyebrow I stop noticing it after a few days. But it looks cool. And you went from a t-shirt wearer to a polo wearer I assume? But t-shirts and polos aren’t _that_ different. Clothes are clothes. Some have collars and some don’t. But maybe it’s just me, because I routinely let my hair grow out shaggily like you did in your before picture and cut it back down to nothing. And as someone who wears t-shirts and polos with some regularity already, it doesn’t seem too weird to me trade one for the other. That’s the difference between what I wore today and what I’ll wear tomorrow to me. ---

Keep a close eye on that eyebrow piercing. They tend to “work themselves out” for whatever reason and leave big nasty permanent scars on your forehead. I was in high school in the mid-90s when these were incredibly popular so I know a lot of people (including my sister) who have “the mark”. ---

[/QUOTE] They tend to work themselves out because they’re a chunk of metal stuck into your flesh. Your body tends to go, “Holy shit! What the fuck IS that, get it out, get it out!” and works it out just like a splinter. Hopefully **ForumBot** ’s piercer used a surgical steel piece, which is less prone to rejection, as the immune system doesn’t recognize it as an invader.
