Dear Male Teenager, I am currently in denial about getting older and am desperate to appear “hip” and “with it”. Please tell me the current “cool” slang terms that kids today are using so that I can casually drop them into conversation at appropriate moments. You mention being on medication for “mood improvement.” Are a lot of people you know on such medications? What seems to be the general attitude among your peers about psychiatric drugs? ---

you don’t know anyone else on mood stabilizers? How big of a school do you go to? I know so many people on em, that I didn’t want to go on em, because it seems almost like a fad. But they have made a difference. Just curious. ---

I have one brother, a mother and a father. I am 5’3 currently, but most of the men in my family are usally over 6 feet, I would say 6 feet, at least. I do not think I’ll grow a beard, nor ever get my head shaved. ---

/hijack/ **Walloon**. Almost anyone I know who’s on em (I remember seniors from when I was a freshman, I know some freshmen this year), has cause to be on em, whether they be for bi-polar, depression, ADD/ADHD, or something else. (I’m in a class of 400, knowing people from 3 classes before me, and 3 after, cause I’m a senior.) I don’t know a LOT of people on mood meds, but I do know more people on them than you guys do. But maybe my friends and I are just really open about it, or there’s something in the water. (sorry bout the hijack **Aslan2** ) /end hijack/ ---

Someone mentioned this earlier and I wanted to bring it up again. Not you, I am guessing, but **some** teenage boys seem to get great delight out of being rude and humiliating complete strangers in public.\* What do you think they get out of this? \*Example: When an unattractive woman or girl walks by, saying “There’s your girlfriend!” and laughing. ---

No, I don’t really have anything to do. It’s a non stop thrill ride, let me tell ya. I hope to acquire good writing skills, publish some books, have my every word dissected by critics world wide. Oh wait, those last two aren’t skills that can be developed by me. 😉 I especially want to be able to write funny stuff, really funny stuff. I would enjoy to be able to entertain someone, make them laugh most of all.
