Congrats on the chair, and the waiver, and the awesome attitude. You’re proof that what happens to you in life, can either grind you down, or polish you into a gem! (The only Halloween costume you should consider is tank, I believe. Just a cardboard shell that sits over you and is easily flung off to reveal a handsome soldier! You could get the cartoon watchers to help you build/decorate it. Plus, sounds like you’re about to be getting some great big cardboard boxes, coming your way!) ---

In the case of a fire / power outage / sudden need to get the f\*\*k away from the domicile, ramp trumps lift every time. Press the powers that be when they come to survey and decide to articulate and cite proof that you won’t be housebound during a fire with a lift. Sex is overrated. Cuddling is not. ETA: That’ll teach me to post without reading full thread… 😕 How is the lift working out? What CAN you do if there’s a loss of power?
