<this is a test of the emergency bump system>bump</that concludes this test of the emergency bump system>
Alright, I’m bumping this ONE more time, then letting it die.
I havw seen some very expensive sunglasses (Zeiss) with red lenses…why would you want them? Also, are blue lenses a good idea?
They appear to be shooting glasses which generally means they don’t do anything for you in high-brightness conditions.
The more extreme lens colors tend to provide greater contrast, but will sometimes filter one color very poorly.
i have the dangdest time getting good quality flip up clip ons ,can you help please?
The flip-up clip on has mostly gone the way of other 80’s icons, which is to say, they are no longer cool.
Regular clip-ons are still pretty easy to find… but you can find decent- not great- quality flip clips here.
I was flicking through the thread and noticed one of the things I said earlier was sorta wrong.
While alcohol will degrade certain types of polycarbonate and CR (resin) lenses, it won’t do anything to glass. It’s ammonia (which you’ll also find in Windex) which will damage all lenses.
Haven’t offered this service in awhile, since I’ve been off the boards for 18 months, so I thought I’d give this a bump.
So come on, people, ask.
I want a pair of perscription red-baron goggles, perhaps with self-tinting lenses. Where would I get some of those?
As the zombies come out, squinting in the bright sunlight…
Really Not All That Bright, please don’t bump threads over two years old . . . even if you’re the OP.
Start a new thread and link to the old one.
