No dude, not unless you sleep away from home overnight.
What are your likes and dislikes about being a tax lawyer?
Hi. I’m a college student, so I usually don’t make enough money to owe anything in federal taxes (although I usually end up having to pay a minimal amount for state/local taxes). But every year, my employers withhold money from my paycheck for taxes, then I get it all back. Is there any way I can stop my employers from withholding so much money for taxes? Because, quite frankly, it’d be of more use to me to be able to keep that money.
I need loopholes. I’m paying way too much in taxes. I’ve already taken the following steps to reduce my Tax Burden
- I hired a shady accountant
- I started a small business, and
- I had a child (actually, my wife had the child), but
I’m still paying too much in taxes!!!
I need some serious tax relief. Any suggestions?
[Disclaimer]
By the way, I owe several thousand in back taxes, I’m paying it off, but untill I do I can’t afford to buy a house - so that’s out.

Winston, just out of curiosity, how do you define “too much”?
I don’t think that getting and/or following information about tax laws from an annonymous contributor is in the best interests of the contributor of the information, the user of the information, or the owners of this message board. For this reason, I am closing this thread.
