If she had been unlucky enough to have tumors in other body parts at diagnosis as Maggie unfortunately did, the sad truth is that she would have ended up dying of the illness too. With many types of cancer, it doesn’t matter how hard you fight or how desperately you want to live. I give Maggie credit for trying to maintain a positive attitude while accepting that the cancer was not curable. That is just as strong and courageous to me as anyone who manages to survive cancer. ---
