Don’t you mean less water?

There’s this podcast, Dr Karl’s Great Moments In Science, the 12 Feb 2013 episode Want to look good? Put your left face forward - says 80% are right footed, and also mentions how many are right eyed and right eared (lower and lower %).

If we traveled back in time 70,000 years ago and kidnapped a newborn homo sapien and brought it back to the present, would the child grow and develop to the same extent that a present day child would? If not what’s the furthest back we could kidnap and expect modern development?

I’m not sure why people think that looking at it is identicle to dabbing it on like pancake makeup.

At least with my hair, I will wash it and put a little product in it (smoothing milk or leave-in conditioner) and let it air dry. On the second day, I just spritz it with water to re-activate the product, do a little scrunching and separating with my fingers and I’m on my way. It never looks as good on the second day but that’s how ya do it.

Also you don’t comb dry curly hair. Only when it’s wet, with a wide-tooth comb, to get your product through or get the tangles out.

I look when I wipe too. And I look in the tissue after I blow my nose. The horrors!

I’d prefer proof, but I guess we’ll have to take your word for it.

Really? You have to hold something up to your face to see it? Your eyesight is that poor?

One does not “style” curls. One works with them.

If they seem to be in a cooperative mood, I can usually just shake them out. If they’re uncooperative, we will do battle with the comb until an agreement has been reached. Trust me, either one of these still results in a much better hair day than attempting to blow-dry it would achieve.

To what level in the North Korean hierarchy do they believe the Kims are superhuman? I know the commoners are taught the Kims are like gods, play record-breaking golf, I think they weren’t even born of a human, etc. The commanders around Kim Jong Un surely see him eat and shit and know he’s human. So at what level do the people stop believing?

I do almost everything I do when I do wash my hair, just with no shampoo. In fact, I only use shampoo about once a week. I do a conditioner-only clean a few times per week, and on some days even just use water.

Squeeze it out with my hands, lean over, squish gel or mousse in, wrap it in a t-shirt. Once I’m done with the other parts of my morning routine, I unwrap it, arrange it with my fingers, and pray it’s going to be a good curl day. I do the t-shirt turban mostly because I don’t want my hair dripping on me while I get dressed.
