Aspirin a day keeps death away

I was on Plavix and aspirin for a year after my coronary artery stent. I recently stopped the Plavix at the one year anniversary, and it’s nice to be able to get a minor scratch without worrying about bleeding out.:smiley:

Nice link. It’s not often you see ‘utility’ incorporated into such things. (Then again, I can’t imagine that anyone might be genuinely more worried about a big bleed than a stroke)

My doctor had me on daily aspirin for a decade and I suddenly, very suddenly, got Cutaneous small-vessel vasculitis . I gather this is quite rare.

Update: Still 2 baby aspirins/day. Still alive.

Ultimately, nothing keeps death away…
