About the post on the word assassin deriving from the word hashish, in the book, “Angels and Demons” by Dan Brown, in one of the first chapters he talks about the illuminati using hashish and about the word assassin coming from that use. ---

As a general rule of thumb, if Dan Brown says that the sun rises in the east, prepare to see it rise in the west tomorrow. Second general rule of thumb, no sentence with the word “illuminati” in it is true. ---

No offense and all, but I’ve come to kill you. Me: How? Him: I’ve got a knife somewhere. [fumble fumble] Wow, look at my hand!
