This is the only one I’ve heard of for Feb 2nd listed on wiki. 1977 – Shakira, Colombian singer-songwriter, producer, and actress There’s a couple saxaphonists from early 20th century and a few composers from the 18th/19th century. Also, whoever this guy is 1983 – Alex Westaway, English singer-songwriter and guitarist (Fightstar) ---

October 29, a REALLY BAD DAY for musician birthdays. The only first-rater is Zoot Sims, the great jazz saxophonist. So I have a screwy little combo of Fanny Brice on vocals Zoot on alto and tenor saxes Neal Hefti on trumpet (I didn’t even know Hefti PLAYED trumpet; I only know him as an arranger for Count Basie and a few other great jazz bands) David Paton on guitar (he played with the Bay City Rollers, shoot me now.) So I got a one-man rhythm section…no drums, no bass, no piano. Joseph Goebbels can be the announcer, and sit onstage as my eye-candy. ---

There are a few people I’ve never heard of who are labeled as singers, but no one who plays an instrument. However, I share my birthday with [Richard Feynman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Feynman), so according to SDMB geekdom, I win this and any other birthday thread. ---

Mine would be more of a weird vocal act than a band, with Don Everly, Harry Styles, and Rick James. I think the rest of my birthday bunch would make movies together: Clark Gable, Brandon Lee, Michael C. Hall, and Sherman Hemsley, all directed by John Ford. What a show that would be. ---

June 12th starts off promising… John Wetton - bass Chick Corea - piano Brad Delp - vocals (Do dead people count? If not, Wetton can be the singer as well) But guitarists and drummers are light: The only drummer I could find that I’ve heard of is Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. I should say I know the band’s radio hits, I had no idea what their drummer’s name is. The only guitarist I’ve heard of is Kenny Wayne Shepherd. I’m familiar with the name, but not his music. ---
