On my birthday, there are a whole bunch of people that are claimed to be musicians, but only one of them I have ever heard of, much less heard. But, among actors, there are a number of reasonably well known ones: Henry Fonda, Danny Trejo, Megan Fox (for some definitions of “actor”), and George Gaynes. ---

August 21. Count Basie would be the foundation. Although Kenny Rogers and Joe Strummer would probably end up fighting, so the tour would be cancelled. ---

Good grief - my birthday (May 11) produces a weird cacophony of sounds and styles that would be completely unlistenable. The list includes: Eric Burdon, vocalist (most known for the Animals) Greg Dulli, vocalist (most known for the Afghan Whigs) A group of 20-something rappers I’ve never heard of Mike LeDonne, jazz pianist Julian Joseph, jazz pianist Christoph Schneider, drummer (most known for Rammstein) Butch Trucks, drummer (most known for Allman Bros.) The mind absolutely boggles. ---

Hmm. The February 4th Band is a little skimpy on instrumentalists, but we’ve got some singers: Natalie Imbruglia - vocals Gavin DeGraw - ditto Clint Black - vocals _and_ guitar John Steel, The Animals - drums Florence LaRue, The Fifth Dimension - yet more vocals Pretty decent, right? Now for the big guns: Opening act - Dara Ó Briain Chief of Band Security - Oscar de la Hoya Video Director - George Romero Tour Logistics, Facilities Management - the USO Vocals, songwriting, general rock-god duties - Alice Freakin’ Cooper ---

Let’s see. I’ve got Chas Chandler of the Animals on bass and Keith Richards, Bill Nelson (of Be-Bop Deluxe) and Elliot Easton of the Cars on guitar. I’m short a drummer. Unfortunately, I’ve also got Josef Stalin, who probably would have sent everyone I mentioned to the gulags. ---
