Asshats who vandalized county powerplant

You made fun of people from Arkansas. I returned the favor in their behalf.

You really need to get a thicker skin dude.

Oooh! Internet tough guy redux!

Are Arkansas winters cold?

Redux? The long-awaited Michael Ellis v. St. Anger match never even materialized.

All my promotion money down the drain. Be careful not to invest too heavily into any future troll fights we may have here. Apparently there is some code for them not to get into too large of fights with each other so they can simply pester the rest of us in harmony.

Not sure how I am a “troll”, but why would I get into a battle of the wits with someone who is unarmed?

Billfish I am sorry for snapping at you I took your remark the wrong way.

They can be. Assuming it is Newton County, it’s in the northern part of the state and in as rugged as mountains ever get around this part of the country. Certainly it’s no Minnesota, but it can definitely get cold enough so that turning on the central heating is not a half bad idea. While blizzards are rare, ice storms are not uncommon.

It appears that I don’t need to spare any RO for the power company. They were doing the best they could to fix the wires. If I lived there, I too would be pretty worried about the temporary fix not making it through the winter.

No problem. Apology accepted though none was required. I rarely get or keep a grudge.

Just lighten up a bit

Hell, my sister down in Beaumont lost some trees awhile back due to an ice storm! This (and hurricanes) are also why they now have a generator.

He. And yes. I’m sincerely hoping it’s not quite as bad as it seems.

Also I misrepresented myself in the haste of the original post. I live just outside the affected area. But it was in my newspaper. And a lot of people I know are going to be affected.

Feel free to blast me for using the word “us”, though.

The OP is a bit misleading in the sense that it wasn’t repairs for a powerplant, but for the wires. I was confused because it is highly unlikely that someplace would be without power because of the loss of a single powerplant. However, being unable to repair power lines could severely hurt the ability to deliver power.

And of course spilling several gallons of motor oil on the ground is just dandy for the environment.

Reading between the lines, it looks like the person doing the vandalism cared only about bees, and about the environment.
