> [@DocCathode](#): > > Those of us who grew up in the 80’s may remember MUSCLE THINGS. Yes. > [@Weirdly collectable](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/weirdly-collectable/801815): > > Today a Google Image search led me to stumbling on [a nice web site](http://www.littleweirdos.net) dedicated to the surprisingly large variety of “creature” figurine toys that have been sold over the past few decades. (One of the most interesting sets I’ve found on the site so far is [this one](http://www.littleweirdos.net/2015/05/oritet-fantasy-mini-figures-russian.html#more), for the look into Russian folklore.) The site made me think of an interest of my own. Back in the 80s there was a certain brand of small monster figurines that I liked as a kid, and every time I was in K-Mart I would look through the st… Google M.U.S.C.L.E. or Kinnikuman and you’ll find that there is still a significant fandom and collectors community. --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/assistant-principal-fired-for-reading-i-want-a-new-butt-to-second-graders/960857)._
