Assisted catch in baseball

Just to confirm OldGuy’s answer - one never knows what he scoring conventions might be for weird plays - I looked up the box score for Game 6 of the 1980 World Series, the one with the famous Boone-to-Rose assisted catch that helped save the game for the Phillies. (I had forgotten how crucial the play was; it was the ninth inning and the Royals had the bases loaded.) Indeed, that play was scored 2-3, and Boone was credited with an assist, so yes, you get an assist if you bounce a fly ball to someone else.
