Assume the GOP loses in November: where from here?

I get the impression many young people today feel the GOP offers them nothing. Young people (people under 40) are concerned about income inequality, climate change, civil rights, a working healthcare system, living wages, etc. The GOP are indifferent at best or outright hostile to these things.

Also, I’ve seen studies showing that Millennials as a group are significantly less religious, less racist and less homophobic than older generations of Americans (yes, even the Boomers). And those are not the kinds of attitudes likely to change as they grow older.

Boomers grew up in a time when, e.g., Jim Crow was still a thing, the Christian Consensus was still a thing, gay sex was a crime, and many may have internalized a view of such things as simply normal. But Millennials grew up in a different world.
