That’s probably a good part of why I made my earlier, comPLETEly inaccurate comparison. ---

This is probably the dumbest argument I’ve seen all day. And I spend all day chatting with my LUG on IRC, so I know dumb arguments when I see them. If I go to the library and check out a book, read it, and recommend it to my friend, I don’t feel the least bit compelled to say, “Yeah, read ‘As The Tide Rises, The Moon Sinks Below The Horizon, In January,’ which I found in Paterno Library via their card catalog.” Now, the people at the library went through a whole lot of trouble to acquire and catalog the books, but I don’t think there’s a person on the board who doesn’t think I’d be right to just recommend the book by title. A link is exactly the same. No matter how you find it, the only thing that’s really relevant is the content. ---
