Over reaction: I have an autistic 11yo son that I love very much. I’m not offended by such jokes and even I will laugh at them when they are funny. For example: In the show South Park where Cartman acted like a retard so he could join the Special Olympics. I Damn near pee’d my pants from laughing so hard at that episode. There is a way to separate the two. I’m not quite sure how to articulate it but I do it easily. Call me an optimist, but when people like **Astro** make such jokes I REALLY don’t think for a second that he perceives mentally disabled children as lesser beings than anyone else. ---
