I’ve been a big BNL fan for almost exactly 20 years but haven’t listened to them much since Steve Page left the band. However,[this collaboration they’ve done with Astronaut Chris Hadfield](http://thechive.com/2013/02/18/astronaut-star-chris-hadfield-aboard-the-iss-sings-a-collaboration-with-the-barenaked-ladies-video/)is pretty great. He’s a pretty talented musician in his own right and this song, “I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing)” is pretty inspiring and catchy. Is this the first time a person in space has performed like this with someone on Earth? ---

Too lazy to google, but didn’t Ian Anderson play a duet with a female astronaut last year or before? ---

Very cool indeed. Thanks for sharing that. I’m surprised that a full size guitar was allowable as his personal cargo. I had no idea the [Cupola](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cupola_%28ISS_module%29) doubled as a iso booth. ---

It doesn’t count as a performance, but Flight Engineer Ron Garan had a Q&A session with Peter Frampton during a concert in San Francisco. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A8MpAiD3CE](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A8MpAiD3CE) ---
