**Fenris** my dear! how fiendishly clever. One small thing, however, you coulda consulted w/me on some of this. Cause, for example, the chair **I** would have selected to replace his chair of ultimate power [sup]tm[/sup] is one (damn I wish I had a link) that we saw in a store window (hey, **UncleBeer/ Strainger** remember when I drove you by the hooker district??? these chairs weren’t out then, but it was near there ya understand). Imagine, if you will, Tall back chairs - one in lime green, one in day-glo orange, one in leopard spots, all perfect replicas (larger of course, so it’s adult chair size) of the quintessential "F\*\*\*-Me’ Pumps (ie **very** high heeled shoes) you sit on the part that would cover the toe. They were equistite in their horrifying tackiness. The **only** thing preventing me from having them grace my beloved yuppie brother’s living room is that I don’t have $300 to spare. (damn social worker type salaries) (not to mention you forgot the gopher reference) ---

More on Starship Troopers. I just read it a month or two back. I do believe the Tagalog comment is just about the only clue that’s given in the whole book. In the movie, Rico is from Buenos Aires, which is why he’s so bummed when it gets wiped out. But in the book, he happens to hear that his mom was _visiting_ BA when it was wiped out. His dad was elsewhere, lived, and met up with Johnny later in the book. Whoop! Gotta go finish Master Scylla’s next batch of Ebola-Pox[sup]TM[/sup] ---

Um. well, ya see, um, I’ve lived in the Lansing area for more than 20 years, and have worked with ex offenders there for more than 20 years, and um. well, um specifically I um , helped run a correction center for women for a long time, so, we’d like, um, get these phone calls about some of our ladies, um, well. hell. Many big and not so big cities have an area where street trade is likely. The above is why I know where they are locally. And, there was a recent dopefest nearby, and **UB & S** arrived during the work day, I was the closest local who could arrange time off to 'show ‘em around’, so, it just so happened that the best route to take them from point a (their hotel) to point b (an odd little store I thought they’d like - and they did), was through this area known for it’s traffic. So, being the good hostess I was taught to be, I pointed out sights along the way, this being one of them. (and, thanks for asking, this way I got to reasonably post yet another item to this thread w/o answering any of the challenges - and **Scylla** next time you’re mentioning ‘honest debaters you frequently disagree with’ ya better not forget ‘chopped liver’ again! 😃 ) ---
