Hey, I’ll be the first to admit I’m overly sensitive, and yes, that’s my problem. I’ll make no excuses for that. It just annoys ME that when someone has a problem with me, they don’t just TELL me. Instead, they go off and make catty little remarks. That’s always been my one sensitivity. Especially as I considered some of them people I liked. See, I’d rather have someone like **Hama** , who at least doesn’t go running to her little journal and instead says straight out, “You suck” or whatever. And then I can say, “Yeah, whatever, bite me.” Or something. _shrugs_ That’s what bothers me-not so much how people feel about me-but how they go about it. If you have a problem with me, pit me, or insult me TO MY FACE. I prefer it. Really. Because then I don’t feel like such a fool. ---

Well, sorry. Here’s what I see: X person makes LOCKED post about how **Guin’s** posting style bothers them. (Locked so that the general public cannot see it, if Guin is referring to the post that I am thinking of.) Y person tells Guin what X person said that Guin was not meant to be able to see. Yeah, I think that shit should be kept off the boards. ---

Jeez, why do any of you have a problem with **Hama** ’s post? **Guin** came in here and just invited people to say to her face what she claims people are saying behind her back (and not link to it, and apparently drag LiveJournal drama onto the board.) So asked and received, you got criticism to your face. I have no problem with non-political driveby posts, so I don’t care if **Guin** does it or not. But if you’re going to invite criticism here, criticism apparently based on off-board remarks, don’t be surprised when you get it. And maybe the reason other people didn’t want to make a Pit thread about it is because they _did_ think there were some things better suited to LiveJournal, rather than spread their personal grievance about someone’s posting style all over the Pit. And **Guin** , maybe they didn’t want to deal with the inevitable tidal wave of defenders you’d draw just in virtue of your ancient reg date and monstrous post count. ---

I too would be angry if someone cowardlyly said something nasty about me behind my back. However if it is indeed a fact that the Mods and Admins don’t like people posting this _type_ of thing in the pit then You guys are right to say **G** shouldn’t have posted it and I agree. But I can’t see why people would feel so strongly about **G** ’s posting style based on what I have seen of her [posts] ---

If a Pit thread was started every time someone didn’t like someone else’s posting style (or grammar, or spelling, or whatever else) that’s all there would ever BE in the Pit. There are people around here who drive me batty but starting a Pit thread about it? That’s just stupid. Do you wander about your school and/or workplace telling people you don’t like them?
