Heck, I’ve got _camo_ cargo shorts. They cost me a fiver and fit, and that’s all that matters. Poor fashion is the least of my aesthetical problems. ---

You know what’s really convenient to have when you’re spending all day at Disney? 1000 pockets. You know what has a lot of pockets? Cargo shorts. Boom. Problem solved for me. ---

Fashion is for people who don’t have style. Cargo shorts are perfectly cromulent clothes at the right times. I have cargo shorts, jean shorts, khaki shorts, chinos, lightweight wool trousers, and blue jeans; each of which is the proper thing to wear at a given time. Mid-fifties, recent transplant from Connecticut to the Sarasota Bay area, where it is in the mid 70s in the middle of February. ---

I honestly feel like it was just one of those things that some hoity toity snot nosed kid published in a blog somewhere and a bunch of people glommed onto. :rolleyes: OK, so they don’t look dressy, but that was never the purpose. They’re comfortable, and they don’t look bad in an embarrassing way. It’s not like wearing short short turd cutters around; Sorry to disagree with those that say they make you look like a kid. It’s just not true. What’s not to love? Inexpensive, comfortable, useful. I wish all my clothes could match all 3 of those criteria. 🙂 ---
