Whoops. And to answer questions 2 and 3, I grew up in suburban Boston. According to a survey of tax records I saw recently, my town was a bit above the national average income, but ranged from multi-family homes where everyone was on welfare, to houses in the $500,000+ range. There was only one Jr. High and High School each for the entire town.
