I love this. We stopped at The Container Store yesterday and the Colter’s BBQ beside it had a sign announcing an Atkin’s Diet special. If we hadn’t already eaten, we might’ve decided to splurge on dinner. I assume it’s BBQ, no sauce or low carb sauce and a salad instead of potatoes or a roll.

I’m assuming you are talking about a restaurant (sorry- been an expat for 6 years, I’m outa the loop).

As an Atkins diet follower (\>30lbs since Jan. 10 and feelin’ groovy) I wish they had that over here. Heck, I wish they had any of the low-carb choices that US folks have. I can’t get Splenda or Stevia or ANY low-carb desserts or pre-packaged food or or or nuttin’ here. I have to make it all myself (luckily I love to cook) or stick to salami.

I wonder if you will see Atkins specials in restaurants more often now. sorta like the ‘healthy-heart’ symbols they use. (insert joke here of a caricature of a man clutching his chest in pain).
