Someone was telling me Atlanta is home to the worst pollen count in the US. Is this true? I couldn’t find out where statistics were compared through google or [weather.com](http://weather.com) but I’m rather curious.

Thanks

I have heard that before but have no cite.

[Here](http://www.gly.uga.edu/railsback/Atlpollen1.html) is a graph showing Atlanta pollen counts for the last few years, if that helps any.

Any pollen count over 120 is considered “extremely high”. Today’s pollen count is 4777.

IIRC, the pollen count went over 8000 one day a few years back.

The price we pay, I suppose, for being “The City in a Forest.”
