# Atlantis????

I got whooshed; **LiveOnAPlane** said to avoid Dirk Pitt, I thought he was a real person. I never heard of Cussler. I checked out Cussler’s web site, found this book, saw the cover, thought it was some kind of collaboration. That’s the silliest name for a novel hero since Dash Riprock.

Hey, you’re not the only one that gets confused, don’t feel whooshed.

In fairness, as has been said, the earlier works were quite decent. I really enjoyed “Raise the Titanic.”

But, when, in one book, Cussler (the author) wound up in an antique car race with Pitt (the fictional character), only the quick application of six or eight cans of brewski saved my head from exploding and riddling my WTF??-Meter with shrapnel. 😉
