Attention: Any EARNEST use in political discussion of the following terms brands the user an idiot

Flat Tax

End the Fed

I’m glad to see “cowardly lowlife scumbag torture supporters” is still fair game. Too bad it needs to be.

Which is another thing that has always bothered me, for a part of the world that has been in almost constant conflict since the Great Flood they’re not as good at killing people as you would expect.

Only an idiot could fail to realize that:

  1. “Obamanomics” is no worse than other widely-used
    identical word-play such as “Reaganomics”.

  2. “Islamofascist” and “Teahadist” are parallel terms,
on an exact par with each other. If one is idiotic then
    the other must also be.

  3. “kewl” is a juvenile Junior HS substandard nitwit usage.

Several other epithets on the list are innocuous, and I am
confident I could find many more idiocies if I continued
reading, but I am already bored with this thread.

Bullshit.

Am I the only one who saw the thread title and thought, “Hey, Vern!”

No, I think we should keep that one.

Maybe this is regional (I’m from Eastern Europe) but the second I hear the phrase “gay lobby” or “Jewish lobby” makes me try not to hear the rest of what that person has to say.

Oh, and, you are an idiot.

Based on David Mamet’s recent L-to-R conversion and accompanying rhetoric, it would appear now is the time to add “road to serfdom” to the list of idiot phrases.

As well as referring to metal.

It’s not like Southerners plaster their vehicles with symbols of the Confederacy or anything.

Except that conservatives used that term to describe a fundamentally different view of economics, Obama’s supporters don’t use Obamanomics, and Obama really doesn’t have a non-traditional view of economics that is worthy of a special term.

And now it appears we must add “Cultural Marxism” to the list.

I’m going to add “job creator” (used to mean “rich”) or “job-killing” (used to mean any bill proposed by a Democrat). If you can’t show a direct link to jobs, shut the hell up.

I’m gonna throw in ‘irregardless’ as I think using it makes someone an idiot irregardless of the context. Except when ironing.

Agreed. Any rebranding of a group with a name other than what they call themselves (unless drastically false, like neo-nazis calling themselves “Americans for Jews and Blacks”) is simply idiotic and indicative of bias.

I agree with all of these. The fact that the list of idiotic words to abandon is long on terms making the left look bad and short on terms making the right look bad–in other words, let’s keep most of the idiotic terms used to disparage the right and get rid of most of the idiotic terms that disparage the left.

Brain Glutton: perhaps you fail to realize that the people who use the terms you complain of all think their terms are “KEWL.”

You have got to be kidding? Why don’t you compare Clinton’s economics with Obama’s.

‘Hat’ used in shit like, “He took his military hat off, and put on his diplomacy hat”.

Most used during the McCain/Obama election but I ground my teeth every time so bubble-headed bleach-blond opined this vacuous crap.
