Short answer (to both questions): School. Long answer: I’m at my University in Pennsylvania right now, but tomorrow I return home to just outside Birmingham. The reason I have so few posts in such a long membership is that during the school year, I don’t have enough time to read this board, much less post to it. And when I do, it’s typically in GQ. I have many affairs to take care of when I get home, so count me out of this one, but I’ll keep my eye open for the next. I know Queen Mums are supposed to be a little dotty, and all that rot (_snicker_) but I think I missed something somewhere. I thought Ogre was definitely NOT coming! I am tickled as all git-out he IS coming, but I obviously missed where he got out of his prior commitments! Hooray! Most of the original BamaDopers will be there, it seems. Also, Nocturne, did you ever get in touch with Pies R Square? I sent him an email several weeks ago, but received no reply. Just wondering if you (or anyone) has heard from him. T-town here we come! ---

We’re still definite maybes… I mentioned it to the wife, but don’t have a definite response on her interest. I’ll inquire again this evening and post her response here for all the world to see… if you’re making reservations, just aim high… they can always take extra tables/seats away that aren’t needed.
