Also, why does the OP want wives that make good sandwiches? I don’t normally put wives in sandwiches; I prefer peanut butter.

I too keep hoping to find someone who truly believes this and will sell everything they own for 10 cents on the dollar…come on, if you truly believe it is the end of the world, why not sell cheap and fast?
True story:
I used to live in West Berlin (back when the Wall was up) and one nice couple that took English lessons from me was very, very wealthy. How?
Right after the Wall went up, many West Berliners were in a panic - sure that the Russians would most certainly someday come roaring over and take everything.
The couple I was teaching had saved a small amount of money over the years and intended to move to Munich to buy a business. Not for fear of Russians invading Berlin, just because the wife had family there and it had always been their plan.
The husband met a Berliner and he and his wife were in a panic and offered my student a deal; he could buy their large house by the lake, and his small grocery store - both for about 1/4 of its value - but he needed the cash in 24 hours. They were fleeing to the airport the next day with whatever fit in suitcases.
Husband and wife thought it over - didn’t think any Russians would be marching through and pillaging West Berlin in their lifetime. However, if they took this deal, it would wipe out every penny of their savings. They agonized over night - take this amazing deal or stick to their plan to buy a business near family in Munich?
They took the deal in West Berlin.
When I met them, their gorgeous mansion by the lake was now worth a fortune, and they had taken that little grocery store - expanded it - and then bought several more neighborhood grocery stores in West Berlin. They were multi-millionaires. Yes, it was a risk - but it paid off BIG TIME for them.
So - if there is anybody with a Malibu beach house, or a three story condo in NYC, or who owns an island in the Caribbean - give me a call and we’ll see what kind of deal we can make before the 21st.

Ten days until _the end of the 12th_ is what you meant, right? December 21st is the first day of the 13th. And this is gonna be a long one, the 13th ends in January of 2409 (probably around inauguration day for the 137th US president).
