I’m inclined to say he is seeing things that aren’t there. Is there really no time we can ever put apes or monkeys anywhere near black people and not be accused of making a racist connection between the two? Must we forbid blacks from being zookeepers in the Ape House? Or taking a black friend to see King Kong? Just because a monkey is there doesn’t make it automatically racist. ---

Same with a false accusation. So my wife’s been making this “detox juice” in the morning lately, with pineapples and collard greens and ginger and coconut water and I don’t know what else. It’s really not bad, but if I “detox” much more, my ass is going to turn inside-out. ---
