Actually, I found **FX’s** post rediculous and over the top. So I quit reading about 25% into “part one” :rolleyes: Really, while I agree that it’s annoying, **hardygrrl** , it seems like something you should just ignore. No point in feeding the fire, so to speak. ---

There have been a number of pittings revolving around Dopers who, for whatever reason, have been notorious for being annoying. Some of these pittings I agreed with, but so often, my personal solution was “skim, skim, skim”. No offense Flam, but there was **no way in HELL** I was going to read your complete personal life story. So I didn’t. Simple. I skip a lot of people’s threads. And they skip mine. It’s no big deal. Like someone else said, it _is_ easy to ignore someone else if you are not interested in what they have to say. Not that I am “ignoring” Flam—she seems likeable enough to me. But I can easily find that “back” button when confronted with a long-winded life story (or anything else that I does not interest me). ---
