This thread has rightly become a delicious trainwreck, but it is as good a place as any to put some info on how other nations deal with the issue. Germany, for instance. Jewish boys are traditionally circumcized by someone who has had some training and some expertise. IIRC, Muslim circumcisions are done by the father, who has little or no media training. In modern countries, both circumcison are also often doen my doctors, however reluctantly. After some stories of Muslim cicrumcisions gone bad, last month a German judge declared circumsion of baby boys to be child abuse and forbade it. Naturally, that got both Jewish and Muslim groups together in outrage. They were probably as surprised as anyone to be on the same side on this one. In most recent news (last Friday, 13 july 2012), the German Prime Minister, Angela Merkel, has overthrown the judges decision and religious circumcision is still legal. ---

Problem solver that I am, I believe I have a solution for Try2Bā€™s perceived trauma: Go to a place where they sell live lobsters. Ask them for one of the rubber bands they put across the claws to keep the lobsters from injuring one another. When you get home (DO NOT do this in the store), install the rubber band on your schlong and presto! Instant foreskin! (Band name?) Youā€™re welcome. ---
