I’d like to ask a question of tha the moon landing doubters. What would it take to convince you that the Apollo missions were real? What about pictures from a very high resolution telescope (currently, no such telescope exists) that showed the lunar lander on the surface? Is there anything that could convince you? What if they put you on a rocket and took you there? (please refrain from “one-way ticket” jokes, I’d like to keep this civil) ---

Nope, not banned. Neither was the other moon conspiracy fan **Bickbyro** , although it’s been more than a year since either one posted. As a matter of fact, their last posts were made within hours of each other. Coincidence? Perhaps… 🙂 As to **Guy** ’s question - if they’re convinced the government fabricated the K-2 sized mountain of evidence that already exists, they’re naturally going to believe any new photos from a telescope are fakes too. I’d like to believe that taking them to the moon personally and actually showing the Apollo landing sites would convince them, but odds they’d figure out a way to discount even that evidence… ---

Why don’t you do something more productive like go stand in front of a mirror at midnight with your eyes closed and chant “Candyman” or “Bloody Mary” or something like that? (There’s even a Friday the 13th coming up in a few weeks, if that will help any.) ---

Weird that this should be posted today. I just read [this](http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/11/24/1037697982142.html) in the paper. I read it in a different paper, but it’s essentially the same article. Short version: they are going to use a Big F\*\*\*ing Telescope to take pics of the Apollo landers in order to shut up the conspiracy people. Of course it won’t work; conspiracy types are impervious to evidence, but they are trying. ---

Maybe he thought some “moon-doubter” would come along kicking up dust and he’d post a link to this story and go _“HA!!! In yo’ FACE, Mulder!!!”_ I have to admit, that would’ve been funny. At any rate, why are they doing this? I know NASA has an image problem, but is it really worth all this trouble to convince a bunch of fringe lunatics who probably aren’t going to believe anyway? ---

I’m a moon doubter. There is no moon. The ancient Babylonians, with help from the Mayans, Egyptians, and the Shriners Lodge of Shreveport Louisiana, constructed a giant tower to reach the sky. The tower of Babylon was not built to touch God, but to hang a giant ether powered lightbulb on the great dome that covers our flat Earth. The needed it so they could see during midnight roller derby. It won’t prove anything about the Space program to use a telescope, because in 1969 NASA built the TITAN II extension ladder and Neil Armstrong (a graduate of the Art Instruction School) painted a little lunar lander on the giant light bulb. However, if the telescope focuses on the lower left hand corner, the observer will see that Mr. Armstrong also left paintings of a pirate, a bear in a derby hat, and a tortoise wearing a turtleneck. ---

What’s been forgotten here is that moon-landing-hoaxers don’t claim that we didn’t leave artifacts on the moon, only that human beings didn’t go (after all, those Van Allen Belts have sooo much radiation…). Seeing the Apollo artifacts on the moon won’t convince them. Seeing video footage won’t convince them. Heck, even _getting decked by one of the men who walked on the moon_ 🙂 won’t convince them. It’s pretty clear that nothing will. ---
