WXRT is streaming Wilco’s concert live tonight. Here’s the link:

Tonight’s show is part of a 5-night “Winter Residency” at The Riviera Theater in Chicago. They’re a few songs in already, but if you’re a fan of Wilco - you’ll want to check it out.
Their goal over these shows is to play every song they’ve ever recorded. We went to Saturday night’s show and it was incredible.

I am kicking myself for not getting tickets. Argh. And the Riveria is right next door!!!

You probably would not have gotten tickets they sold out in like 5 minutes and the ones on Ebay were going for a lot.

I DID have the opportunity to get the damn tickets on [ticketmaster.com](http://ticketmaster.com), but I opted out because I was short on funds. I should have just starved myself for a week. 😛
Wilco tickets in Chicago do sell out obscenely fast, though. You have to log on to Ticketmaster the minute they go on sale, and from there it’s just luck.

Bad move. Even if you choose not to go you could have sold the tickets for more than you paid. Hell, if you bought four you could have sold two and paid for your tickets with money left over.

Seen them 3 times now, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Tickets were a chore each time, plus the hassle of driving an hour or more one way, plus trying to park in that damn neighborhood (sorry Haze).
They have a live CD that’s pretty good listening.

I’ve seen Wilco 4 times now and Jeff Tweedy once (and if they’re within 600 miles of me again, I’ll surely be buying tickets). I never thought it was a hassle to get tickets–but then, I didn’t think it was a hassle to fly to Berkeley from Salt Lake either.
I listened to both streaming shows…and I have recordings of the first two shows (Wilco encourages the recording and sharing of the concerts except when it’s not allowed by the venue). And yet…I still ache with jealousy. Because a friend of mine went to _all five shows_. She’s been having a great time. I’m getting whatever vicarious enjoyment I can.
I’m a little bit greedy for Wilco, lol.

Hmm, good point. I’ve only ever seen them in CA. And also, I buy tickets literally the minute they go on sale on their website. At 10 AM, I am refreshing the page with credit card in hand.
