I get big crushes on authors while I’m reading their work. Peeking inside the writer’s mind feels very intimate, and besides, I find brains and imagination sexy. But so far I’m too squeemish to read Mieville. Lots of writers wear glasses, and I love a man in glasses. And apparently smooth heads, although I didn’t realize that until just now. 😛 ---
