You people do the same dishonest method each time a poster disagrees with the approved point of view. 1. You deliberately lie about the point of view being presented. 2. You construct strawman versions of the argument. 3. You resort to name calling in an attempt to discredit the poster and by extension the argument. 4. You extrapolate to ridiculous extremes reasonable statements. These extrapolations are either deceitful by design or a product of a brain that isn’t quite functional. 5. You get frustrated and just spout profane gibberish. Ignorance fought! It’s really, really, really weird that free speech is targeted for these ridiculous tactics yet calls for violence aren’t. But I think your emphasis on “red state/blue state” is misplaced. If the political schism followed state borders, there might be solutions! California had almost as many Trump voters as Texas and Florida, way ahead of 4th-place Pennsylvania. Florida had about as many Clinton voters as New York; Texas was in 4th-place, way ahead of Illinois. ---

Crimes based on skin color and religion (non-Christian of course!) are on the rise. I’m having trouble with links right now, but they’ve increased significantly over the last 3 years. Anecdotal comments from minorities reflect that low level harassment has also increased. ---

Red/Blue is just short hand for the cultural divide of the two America’s. The fact is that what one side views as positive’s about America, the other side views as problematic, if not evil. Acceptance of gay marriage was a wedge issue for red state Americans, but a source of pride for blue state Americans. Rejection of science and promotion of gun culture are traditional values for red America. ---
