I’m surprised you didn’t hear me, I was only in Croyden 😛 Anyway, when’s the next one? ---

_strolls in late with an air of cool casualness … casuality … casualability? damn, there goes the cool part…_ It was good to see you all. I’d met several of you before, but I came anyway. 😉 The quiz was very good - what’s a few Shakespeare plays among friends? - and well done to **Bibliovore** for getting the PowerPuff girls question! You have to be the biggest butchest Powerpuff Girls fan in the world - after my oh-so-masculine self, of course. Every conversation I had seemed to turn to sex. Are you all trying to tell me something? Perhaps i look like Dr Ruth… My brother thinks you’re all very clever but he likes you nevertheless. **Anahite** - as I told you before, you’re a very attractive woman, I’m sure the photos will be lovely. Wherever they are. ---

FYI, [Ryanair](http://www.ryanair.co.uk/) is having one of its £1.99 deals again, but you have to book by this Monday night (1st September) and travel between the 5th September and the 16th of October. With taxes it comes to about £25, which isn’t bad at all. ---

Inquiries are in hand pertaining to a working email address for **Anahita**. (Having said which, don’t send anything to the email addy in _my_ profile - work address, won’t see anything in it before Monday). Speaking of emails, **SciFiSam** , did you ever remember what I was supposed to email you about? Also, apologies for non-attendance from **Gartog** , who wasn’t able to make it … still, I feel he was with us in spirit … ---

Steve, check my lj for my home email. qts, I think you’ll have to compress the photos as the only one I saw was of the back of Tansu’s head, the side of jr8’s wife, jr8 and a profile of the purple-shirted Alex. Could you possible compress them and resend OR send them to someone who can handle such large sized emails? 🙂 SciFi, too bad you can’t come this weekend, it’s the equivalent of GayPride Week here in our small city for the weekend! 🙂 And thank you, but I was more worried that there were pictures of me SMOKING cigarettes which I’m not supposed to be doing!! ---

I was in Swindon. Apparently they chose the bank holiday weekend to do some work in between where I was (in Swindon) and where I wanted to be (in a pub somewhere with you all). [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/august-londope-report/197245.md?page=2)
