_handing my boarding pass to the saucy looking dopehostess_ checking in for duty!!! another Brisbanite here, and sorry to say it seems I’ve missed the first Oz-dopefest, but I’ll be there for the next. and **steeljaw** , don’t believe a thing these guys tell you, dingoes are as friendly as!!! camping on Fraser Island here once (the entire crew had had a few too (insert “many” here) drinks and had all gone to bed with out cleaning up the campsite), a local dingo made himself at home in our camp kitchen. even cracked himself open a beer, …, and a litre of cooking oil, and a kilogram of sugar, …, and ate two dozen eggs we sent out an APB on a hyperactive dingo with a sleek, shiny coat, more than likely froathing at the mouth, and nursing a full and swollen belly. actually, wouldn’t advise going near one myself, they’re like the wolves of Australia let’s see how many more Aussie-dopers come out of the wood-work!!! ---

bumping this up because it’s tomorrow night people, tomorrow night… the DOG in Randwick, otherwise me and Wooly will be quite lonely… Just so you know who to look for, I’m blond, about 1.64 metres tall, I wear glasses and I’ll be driving the BYK so keep an eye out for the car. I’ll also wear a blue shirt just to make it easy. Of course, there will probably be a convention of blue-shirted, short-sighted, blond-headed Holden drivers there that night, just cause I’m lucky. ---

Another resident of Brisvegas checking in. Since you’re all such smart people, I shouldn’t need to tell you whereabouts in Brissie I live. A clue: get out your UBD and start checking the index, there’s only one possibility. Seems I’ve missed the opening meeting. How did it go? Funny, you know, I’ve noticed that there are often a disproportionate number of Brisbanites on any message board like this, I can only think maybe it’s cos there’s nothing else to do in this town.
