The first weekend sounds good to me. If we’re batting, then Chuy’s is a good choice (although the service was glacial last time I was there). Can 10+ people mini-golf? ---

If Chuy’s service is bad, how about the other place we’ve had at least two at that’s near Chuy’s on Barton Springs? I don’t remember the name. It’s an open air restaurant, and I think that’s where we met for the Batdope that coincided with SXSW. ---

**Jaade** , we did a Houdope last weekend, but the thread was kind of erratically bumped. We’ll be doing our fall do soon; watch for it - it will be better organized. I think I can safely say that you’re at least as welcome as I am **nevermore**. So, what’s a good time for chow-down that gets us out of a place on Barton Springs in time for the bats? A suggestion: Shady Grove 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 6th. ---

What time do the bats generally come out? If we want to eat at 4:00 p.m. at Shady Grove, we’d need to meet around 3:00 or so. Amazingly enough, I haven’t had Mexican food in a really long time, so I’m kinda partial to meeting at Chuy’s myself. Of course, I work on Saturdays, so unless I can get the day off, my vote may not be worth it. And **nevermore** , the more the marrier. ---

Personally, I like Sundays best (I’m thinking the 7th?), but that’s because it’s really my only day off. I can rearrange my schedule most likely with enough advanced warning, so the Saturday wouldn’t be too much of a problem. I’d prefer Sunday, but to be nice to the out of towners, I think Saturday would be best. Unless they don’t mind? ---

Either of these weekends would work for me. I would just ask that the address of the locations where things are going to take place be posted. I don’t know Austin well enough to find anything other than work, home and Best Buy. So, do any of you Dopers have plans for the ACLFestival? I really want to see the Dandy Warhols and they be playing on the 20th.
