Margaritas will be no problem. Just made reservations for the weekend at a hotel right next to the capitol, just a few minutes stagger from 6th St. Thanks to my job, the rooms are $46 instead of $117 a night. Plus the $10 for parking, of course. If I can’t figure out what table to go to, I’ll be the guy standing on a chair belting out Skinny Puppy’s “Spasmolytic”… Find me, and shut me up. 😉 ---

Well, although I cleared my schedule change with my big boss, my mini boss has other plans for the person I’m going to switch with, making her work some other funky deal, meaning I’m screwed and won’t be able to make it. Unless we all want to meet at a more lunchy time, like, oh…noonish? Anyone? If not, that’s cool, just make sure you eat a burrito for me… ---

Put me in for a tentative as well. I think I can make it up there on the 13th. Either noonish or 4ish works for me, since I’m just driving up from San Antone. Not sure yet if any of the rest of the Bear clan will be joining me, though. **Luminousman** is at UT Austin, **Bluebear** just started at Schreiner U. in Kerrville, and who knows where **Mr Bear** will be that weekend. Re-reading that last, I now officially feel downright old… Woohoo… Finally another Batdopefest with bats. Maybe. 😃 It will be great to meet the newbies and to see other fellow dopers again. _hugs everyone enthusiastically_ ---

Of course, for me, noon means I’ve already finished an 8 hour work day. Anyway, it was just a suggestion. It does leave a good, what? 6/7 hours till the bats come out, but it gives us plenty of time to enjoy our meal 🙂 But if it’s a problem for anybody, then we shouldn’t worry about it. We’ve had a few people speak up about it, is there anyone who would have a real problem with meeting earlier? ---

If I’m gonna make the drive, I can rollover to a noontime meeting time. We just have to stretch it out a bit to make the bats (or, go over to the bridge and wake 'em up early - don’t poke the bat, Dad). ---
