I’m able to go if we meet at noon. Unfortunately, I’m unable to get out of work that day, and I have to be in at 5:00. Given location and traffic and the like, I would have to leave at 4:30, meaning I’d get to have half a basket of chips, one drink, and hang out with the first few stragglers who show up and probably never even get to a proper seat. But that’s my strife! I’d like to go and see everyone, but if meeting early is too much of a hassle, don’t worry about it. But yeah, I’m up for noon. ---

Four works for better for me too, but eating twice at Chuy’s in one day wouldn’t be too much of a chore. 😃 Don’t we have a couple of dopers flying in at four? ---

Darth Nader and I are flying in to Austin Friday evening. We are staying downtown, have a bus schedule and are planning to do a lot of walking. We’ll be easily recognized by the hayseed clinging to our clothes and by our stiff necks from looking at all the big ol’ buildings. Noon or 4:00 or both works equally well for us. Somebody make a decision! ---

Damn. As a lifelong troglodyte, 4pm is easier for me, but I am more than willing to get up even more earlier than usual to hang with the Dopers. If it’s coming down to a vote, I gotta go with 4:00. But if folks go with the noon meeting time, I’m sure **Palikia** will bang on my door in time for us to make it. More logistics: How many are going, do we need to reserve some space there, and should I wear my new black velvet top hat with the purple feather in it? ---

Thanks for the invite **Darth Nader** , but my roomate has a guest in from England, so we took him out for Mexican yesturday, and I got my Chuy’s fix in. Plus, after this past session of bills, it’s a bit of a blessing that I won’t have an excuse to spend more money. So you guys don’t worry about me and have a great time! Catch a bat for me.
