Well, my nachos were good, and I didn’t have to subject my coworkers to any unpleasantries, so at least we can take those off the list of stomach haters. Anyway, it was good to meet up with some new people and see some old faces again. Again, sorry I had to bolt so early, but things at work were just really crazy. Next time, I’m going to stick to my past plans of just calling in sick 🙂 Anyway, although I didn’t meet him, I do hope Mr. Emilyforce gets better soon, and next time, I’ll be sure to stay for the whole thing. ---

Man, this LodgeNet thing sucks, doesn’t it? First of all, I’m sorry about the crowd at the Ivory Cat, **Ringo** … That was NOT the guy on the piano I was expecting. The night before I got the real deal, and it was a whole room full of folks singing along to Beatles tunes, instead of a bunch of idiot football rowdies. It was great to meet some dopers in real life. I don’t know what it is, but it seems that posting here gives you a +3 on your charisma rating. I got a few pics worth keeping, but it won’t be until probably Thursday of Friday before I can get them up somewhere. Sadly, there is no pic of the top hat, and the flower hat was also taken off by then. My top hat is still in Austin, BTW. Damn. **Palikia** and myself are now in Wichita— That’s a _long_ drive, if you’ve never done it. I should wrap this up, as I’m not sure how reliable this connection is. One thing: If you find the time on Tuesday, please propose a toast, say a prayer, make an offering, or whatever you feel like doing in memory of **Palikia** ’s father. His name was Fred Pierce, and he was one of the good ones. Yes, “Pierce” _is_ my middle name, and I can’t believe she told y’all about my nipples while I was in the bathroom 😉 ---

Nipple talk? What’s this? 😕 Oh, man… that is _so_ cruel to drop such a tidbit without full disclosure… oops… details. 😛 Sounds like a great time was had by all, even those who left early. I left my hat in the Ivory Cat bar, on Sixth Street. It’s gone forever, methinks… And, also, there will be no pictures. I spent most of my time talking to **Mearl Dox** (I may have a goofy hat fetish), and not nearly enough with everyone else. Maybe next time, right? ---
