# Austin Texas Dopefest.

We’re planning a Dopefest in Austin texas for the weekend of May 14th. Planning on meeting up around [Shady Grove](http://www.theshadygrove.com/) for drinks, food, and conversation. Meetup will be round about 4:00 pm. (Maybe a trek to sixth street and/or the bat bridge afterwards.)
So which Dopers in/near the ATX are down for some good ol’ fashioned debauchery?
Oh, and, as a side note we’ll also be having a back-to-back Dopefest in Dallas for the next weekend after the 14th. Check back at the parent thread for details.

The last Austin get together was something that I forgot about within 3 days.
The middle initial is a lower case L. so yes you have the email correct/

Oh yeah, **unclviny** lives near Houston (in the metropolitan area), but his work takes him to many exotic places, such as Houma, Louisiana. He’s attended several Dopefests and is, IMHO, the only guy you’ve gotta watch 😉 .
If I _can_ make it, it’ll be good to catch up with **Fionn** again. She, too, has made several previous gatherings.
