Only taxi drivers. It is not expected elsewhere in Australia in my experience. However, when overseas I have no problem tipping. The biggest problem I find is working out which countries actually expect it (and the Lonely Planet is more wrong than right in this regard). ---

Our business studies lecturer told us that the great problem with doing business in Malaysia is not paying off the people you do business with. It is that the system by which people are paid is easily corrupted when you didn’t know how much and to whom you are required/expected to pay ---
