# Auto-fellatio: Is it really possible? Do people really do it?

I heard in 6th grade that guys have broken their ribs trying to give themselves oral pleasure.
I read recently that most guys could suck themselves off without any lasting negative physiological effects.
So, what’s the deal? I can’t do it, and although I haven’t discussed the topic with many of my male friends, I’ve never heard anyone say they can go down on themselves, male or female. Considering the average American penis is 5 inches long, it seems a bit far-fetched to say that most American men (the context of what I was reading suggested that they were talking about Americans) could give themselves fellatio if they tried. Maybe–_maybe_–I could see it working for someone who’s flexible and well-endowed. But I would assume that the average American male has neither or at most one of those traits, not both.
Has anyone done this before, or known of people who’ve done it? Is it really possible, and how many people can do it?

Maybe you get bored of it after a while, or maybe there _are_ negative physiological consequences of going down on yourself. It’s possible to jump over a fire and get a big thrill out of that, but most people don’t do it. Why? Because it has negative consequences, possibly permanent (or at least long-lasting) ones. People don’t have to jump over a fire to figure this out; you probably would have to double over and slob your knob a few times to figure out that it hurts or messes with your posture or whatnot. But you could still find out and stop doing it.

I have obtained anectdotal evidence that says that yes, it’s possible, if you’re both flexible enough and endowed enough. But you can’t do much, it hurts your back, and it makes you feel pretty stupid. I’m afraid I can’t do much comparison among different experiences, since I think it’s remarkable enough that I got ONE male friend to give information on this.

I saw a porno where a guy went down on himself. (no not a gay porn it was just stuck in there for some reason) It looked real enough. I can’t talk about his discomfort for I hit the FF button but it didn’t look like the most comfortable position in the world.
I also imagine it’s like girls that can suck their own breasts. I know a couple that can and they all say it doesn’t feel good b/c it’s themselves and not someone else doing it.

I _honestly_ can’t believe that this topic is still up and running! I started a topic about the psychology/sexual perversion behind Golden Showers and got the whole topic shut down… I think this one is more specific and detailed right from its original intent! The Golden Showers thread got closed? I was just about to start getting into that one. I’ve always thought that was a…different fetish.
One of the first threads I read on the SDMB was a TMI thread, so I guess I just figure you can get away with anything in MPSIMS 🙂

Hey fetus, I guess it would almost be enough to “piss some people off” that the Golden Showers thread got closed… doesn’t worry me none, though. I’m just a new kid on the block and I was actually interested from a psychological point of view… anyway it doesn’t matter… be back later … I have to go to the bathroom!! 😃
