Ouch. School buses are big and heavy. Their bumpers are not very forgiving. I’m glad you were able to call State Farm at all.
I too have had good experience with State Farm. In fact, I just got my car back from the body shop after my teenage daughter scraped it against a post. The total bill came to $995.81. My agent said that if the total was under $1000, I wouldn’t be charged a 10% collision surcharge. I told the body shop guy to keep it under $1000, and there you go.
It was NOT MY FAULT! THE CAR MADE ME DO IT! CAN’T YOU SEE YOU FOOLS??? RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Seriously though, this thread is about keeping my insurance premiums from shooting through the roof, cough may I suggest trying to stay on-topic? (not addressed to Byzz in particular but to the whole thread)
Thank you so much.
ps: When I said I always thought I had to remember to set it to park (and of course, to raise the handbrake), I meant that i did not KNOW about the security feature, that’s all. I know my responsibilities as a driver, do not worry!
