# Auto sig again

New computer (literal crash: it dropped during a move) and now autosig is on. I can’t figure out how to turn it off in user preferences. Anyone know how?

I believe you have to use the old theme. (Or [my userscript](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=835640) on the new theme.)

For some reason, the new “Sultan” them turns it on by default.

Thanks. Yes, I was also annoyed by being unable to highlight. My reinstall must have switched me to the “new” theme which I had previously opted out of after trialling it.

Yeah, signing in for the first time on a newly installed Chrome (or Firefox, apparently) will show Sultantheme.
