A family friend who had weight loss surgery was bragging about being able to get rid of all of his old loose-fitting clothing; when I made the horrible mistake of mentioning that I kept several pairs of ‘comfort-waist’ pants in my closet for those wonderful bloated period days, he loudly dismissed this as a sign of denial about my apparent weight problem. :rolleyes: Now, dear cousin…regarding the line of overpriced skin care crap you’ve been advertising non-stop on Facebook for the last month. When the manufacturer decides to raise the prices on these tiny tubs and bottles of goo, it’s called a “price increase” or “price hike”, not a “pay increase”. (Also, I’ve seen more convincing before-and-after photo sets in late-night infomercials, but I know the content of the ads you post is beyond your control.) ---

I know several people who used to, but proper medical care was able to fix it (it did take several rounds of “let’s try this”, in the worst case). Care to which I’m guessing the workers at that kind of place do not have easy access, or do not know they do. Maybe someone should tell Planned Parenthood about dropping off a few brochures at fast food places. ---

It took me several different methods of BC to figure it out, over the course of years, and now that I have, I’m basically stuck on this BC for the rest of my fertile life. It’s one of the reasons that birthing children is not an option for me. When I’m not on it, I fall apart, both physically and psychologically. For some of us, the pain is definitely not BS, it’s debilitating. ---

What I _WISH_ is that I could have had a partial hysterectomy [remove the womb, leave the ovaries to keep pumping out the hormones] as I had already had my tubes tied, and between the PCOS, endometriosis and whatnot my cootchie was tormenting me for no good reason, it wasn’t like I was planning on popping out a sprog at any point in time after the first 2 pregnancies tried to kill me … so why have an organ bleed me out randomly [in all my ‘reproductive years’ was I ever regular unless I was on hormonal BC] and put e through labor quality cramps monthly [or randomly, once I bled for about 3 months straight, and another time I skipped 7 months for no good reason at all.] ---
