# Avast or AVG

Is there any advantage of using one over another? I am getting rig of the Bloated McAfee and Norton and was wondering which program has the better features.

I can’t comment on Avast, but I use AVG and I’ve been very happy with it.

Another vote for AVG. Small foot print, updates daily. Fast scans.

I used to use AVG. Avast came out with a completely revamped version last year that I am thrilled with. Anyone that used the older version doesn’t have a good point of comparison. I vote for Avast.

I switched to Avast! from AVG last year as the latter was giving me problems with too many false positives and was occasionally glitching during updates. So far so good.

I use AVG and am happy. A friend of mine uses Avast and is happy.
