I had no opinion on the old board–those who used them, that was great; those of us who didn’t, no problem. But here on Discourse, I find them handy. The “Recent Posts” on the main page shows the avatars, and I can recognize them, making it easier to follow particular posters. Plus, it’s interesting to see how posters choose to portray themselves. ---
